Vertical Distortion

Vertical Distortion is a sculpture made of transparent tubes filled with liquid, designed to distort the viewer’s perception of their surroundings. The liquid inside the tubes creates a shifting visual effect that plays with how we see, bringing attention to the here and now and stimulating the viewer’s consciousness.

As you walk past the sculpture, the environment around you appears to be deformed, seen through a color gradient that shifts several times as you move. This distortion engages the senses, inviting you to experience space in a new, dynamic way, and encouraging a deeper awareness of the world around you.
